NEVER SAY NEVER! - EX-IGP MUSA HASSAN REMARRIES AT AGE 72,  AFTER TUMULTOUS SPLIT FROM EX-WIFE - 'MAY YOU BOTH BE BLESSED WITH LOVE'

KUALA LUMPUR (Politics Now!) - Former Inspector-General of Police Musa Hassan has remarried after a messy split from his former wife that had been splashed on social media.

The 72-year-old Musa looked dashing as he wed Qistina Lim at a hotel in Shah Alam last night. The couple looked radiant and happy as they held hands during the ceremony.

Musa's brother, Mohammad Izzat Hassan broke the news on Facebook, posting pictures of the wedding ceremony, family and guests in attendance.

And while Musa's family rolled out the red carpet for Qistina, very little is known about her.

"Alhamdulillah and congratulations, Tan Sri Musa Hassan and Puan Sri Qistina Lim, you (Musa) have always been my idol, advisor, leader and big brother. Welcome, Kak Long Qistina, into our family. May you both be blessed with love, (God's) mercy and remain together until Jannah," said Izzat.

Celebrity preacher Tuan Asmawi Tuan Umar also ran a Facebook Live broadcast lasting two minutes and 18 seconds during the wedding reception.

"The wedding ceremony of Tan Sri Musa Hassan & Puan Sri Qistina Lim," Asmawi announced on his social media account.

According to the NST, Musa had previously separated from his wife, Elly Afizahwati Abdul Jalil, 42, who filed for divorce in the Syariah Lower Court on March 30. The divorce application was filed due to prolonged conflict or shiqaq between Musa and Elly, whom he had been married to for ten years.
