This comes as PN and Bersatu chief Muhyiddin Yassin lashes out at Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's government over the raids carried out by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission on the offices of his lawyers yesterday.
"This is abuse of power by the authorities. It's enough, Anwar. Stop this oppression. Focus on saving the economy and helping the people," the NST reported Muhyiddin as saying during a rally last night.
The raid, involving more than 10 MACC officers, took place yesterday morning in Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur, as reported by a Bersatu source. According to the source, the MACC officials had 'aimed to search and seize documents' from the firm.
The firm, Rosli Dahlan Saravana, is actively involved in Muhyiddin's defamation suit against Anwar and other high-profile cases.

MACC chief Azam Baki has since confirmed the raid, saying it involved an ongoing investigation against the lawyer over the recovery of assets linked to the 1MDB debacle and kleptocracy.
The Pelangai state seat in Pahang is an Umno bastion, dominated by its traditional 'fixed deposit' voter-bases at the several large Felda settlements located there.
Analysts have predicted that so long as the voter turnout is reasonable, the odds will favor Umno, which is part of Anwar's unity government.
According to Election Commission, barring the weather and unexpected surprises, its target turnout of 70% can be hit when voting closes at 6pm. Results are expected to be known by 9pm.
